I got my first tattoo when I was a senior in high school thinking it was going to be one of those “forever” bad ass looking tattoos. Who was I kidding. It was my initials with barbed wire around my arm. How original I know. After meeting my wife I was reminded of how stupid I actually was for getting my initials on my arm. I heard everyday, “what, are you going to forget you name?”.
After a while I decided to finally pull the trigger and get the bad mistake covered up with something really meaningful. I chose to go with Ainslie for my cover up because I had a couple of mutual friends that had nothing but good things to say about him and had gotten incredible pieces done by him. So after a few long years of having a terrible decision on my arm, I got it covered up with an amazing half sleeve.
The pocket watch has the time that my daughter was born in the face of it, and each of the flowers represent my wife and daughter. The rose for my daughter and the lily for my wife. The piece under my arm was actually originally drawn up by myself, but with a major facelift to it, I give all the credit to Ainsley for what he did. Now I am not reminded everyday of the terribly mistake that use to be. I would recommend Ainslie to anyone in need of a cover up or any other tattoo.
