“The time that he spent on the consultation proved to me that he truly cared about my needs and he wanted to do a great job. It was impressive.”
I got a tattoo on my wrist that was horrible! Worst job ever. A 5-year-old child could have written better. I lost sleep over the ugly thing. And the icing on the cake was that the tattoo blew out under my skin. The tattoo “artist” informed me that it was just an ink smear on my skin and that it would fade.
Anyway … I visited a local tattoo shop that pretty well told me that I had no hope. They suggested that I go to Marion for laser treatments, which I did. I had two treatments that helped to lighten the tattoo, but I would have needed many more to remove it. And it hurt like the damn devil! A friend of mine had gotten a tattoo by Ainslie and gave me his card. I had been searching Pinterest for coverup ideas and finally narrowed down something that I thought might work. I met with Ainslie and we talked back and forth. He took pictures of my scratcher tattoo and drew up the beautiful cherry blossom that now wraps around my wrist.
When he placed it on my arm, tears of joy welled up in my eyes. The tattoo that I was ashamed of, the tattoo that made me feel ugly … could indeed be covered up!! The time that he spent on the consultation proved to me that he truly cared about my needs and he wanted to do a great job. It was impressive. The tattoo was covered up a few weeks later. It healed perfectly. It looks stunning and I get compliments all of the time. No one could tell that it is a cover. As much as the start of this situation sucked, everything worked out beautifully and I gained an amazing tattoo artist to ink on me and my family in the future!
